Federal Civil Service Commission makes a change in Bole Arabsa with the idea "Plant Hope"ADDIS ABABA | August 3 2026. The people in charge and staff of the Federal Civil Service Commission went to Arabsa Gabriel Square in Lemi Kura Sub-City, Woreda 4 to plant trees. They did this as part of a plan to plant 800 million young trees all over the country.At the event Federal Civil Service Commissioner Dr. Mekuria Haile said that 250 people from the commission planted 5,000 small trees.The Federal Civil Service Commission is now in charge of the site.They want to make it a nice place where people can go to relax.Dr. Mekuria Haile said that the Green Legacy Initiative started by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed is very important for taking care of the earth.The Federal Civil Service Commission is doing a lot of things to help the environment.They have started 108 Mesob Centers in the 17 months.Dr. Mekuria Haile also said that the Federal Civil Service Commission will take care of the trees they planted.They will make sure the trees stay healthy and the area around them looks nice.The Federal Civil Service Commission is committed to the Green Legacy Initiative and the Federal Civil Service Commission will do their part to help the environment.The Federal Civil Service Commission wants to make sure that the trees they planted will still be alive, for a time.
